Parke House Academy Mission Statement

The mission of Parke House Academy is to provide an accelerated educational program that empowers each student to reach his or her highest social and academic potential.

Our state-of-the-art campus consists of two main academic buildings, art and music studios, two libraries, two computer labs, a Spanish classroom, a full-size regulation gymnasium, multiple playgrounds, and shady picnic areas all spread out over two acres of lovely grounds in Winter Park, Florida.

Our instructional staff assemble a structured learning environment while promoting inquiry and encouraging “freedom within limits.” Along with administration, teachers share the common goal of establishing a strong academic curriculum in a nurturing environment where young minds can explore and grow.

The environment at Parke House is conducive to effective teaching and learning due to our low student-teacher ratio, dedicated teachers, individualized instruction, and progressive curriculum.

Parke House’s media curriculum ensures that every student is technologically literate and able to use, manage, and understand technology and its value in our global society. Students in both Upper and Lower Divisions have access to computer labs and instruction in mouse skills, keyboarding, online citizenship, internet research, and word processing. In addition, teachers and students utilize iPads and Apple TVs in the library and classrooms to enhance instruction across the curriculum.

Parke House Academy values the structured learning approach. We boost high levels of student achievement by providing a curriculum that exhibits elevated academic standards grounded in a strong foundation of reading, writing, and mathematics.

All of our students participate in the study of Spanish language, consisting of vocabulary and cultural studies. The study of a foreign language is extremely beneficial to a child’s intellectual growth. The knowledge acquired while studying another culture will encourage our students to learn more about the world.

Our music program embraces exposure to a wide variety of composers and music including Classical, Jazz, Rock, Blues, and other genres. The incorporation of technology, art, and history is used to enhance our music education program.

Parke House Academy’s Art Room is brimming with color, creativity, and artistic expression while engaging both the academic left brain and creative right brain thinkers. The visual arts program educates students in a variety of genres including drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. Many of our students have had their artwork placed in local and national competitions and displayed in local establishments in Central Florida.

In Fall 2022, PHA will open a STEM Lab where students can further explore the world of science and engineering. To that end, we are thrilled to announce that Dr. Joe Del Rocco will be leading this wonderful program. Dr. Del Rocco has over two decades of experience bouncing back and forth between industry and academia. He has worked as a software engineer for a variety of industries, and authored and taught courses on computer science, programming, and applied software topics at Stetson, UCF, and Full Sail.

Students are admitted based on results of an evaluation, observation, and current enrollment levels. Consideration of the needs of the individual student and the academy’s ability to meet those needs becomes an aspect of every admission decision.

Due to of our low pupil-teacher ratio, and the unique “home-like” environment, enrollment is limited. A waiting pool is maintained in the event of a full enrollment. Admittance into Parke House Academy’s Lower Division does not guarantee admittance into Upper Division.

If you would like to schedule a personal tour of our toddler, preschool and elementary school campus, please fill out our online form . If you would like to request a brochure, please call Lower Division at 407-647-1121 or email admissions@theparkehouseacademy.com.

Inspired Me To Become An Artist

Parke House Academy Preschool Winter Park

I enjoyed my time at Parke House Academy. The teachers were involved and not only cared about my education, but myself as well. The advanced academics helped me with my AP and Honors classes in middle and high school. I really enjoyed Art with Ms. Altomare. She helped me expand my creativity and inspired me to become an artist

No Substitute For PHA

Parke House Academy Elementary School Winter Park
Parke House Academy is our home and the
staff is our extended family.  Since Kindergarten,
we have seen our child flourish personally, socially,
and academically in the loving embrace of this
wonderful institution.  There is no better feeling than
to know that you are leaving your child in the care
of those who will treat her like their own.
There is no substitute for PHA.

An Educational Experience Like No Other

Parke House Academy Elementary School Winter Park
Parke House Academy is an educational
experience like no other in the Orlando area.
The nurturing and creative atmosphere combined with
a challenging and diversified curriculum allow our
children to grow and develop in mind, body, and spirit.
The full private school curriculum including drama,
music, art, computers, media, and foreign language is
offered in class sizes small enough to ensure
individualized attention and the full exchange of ideas
among students and faculty. We are so happy to be a
 part of the PHA family.
